I bought one of the little tubs a few years ago and it works very well – it’s stiff enough that it’s easy to apply but very very smooth. It definitey seems to last well too – I’ve taken things apart after 6 months use and the grease has still looked great – which didn’t seem to happen before. It’s actually good value even for such a small tub – because you don’t need to replace it so often and because there’s no waste when you apply it. Definitely recommended. I used to flush out grease with a spray can of silicone grease or even WD40.
